Clint Nylander

Director of Operations & Finance

Clint Nylander serves as Director of Operations and Finance for Ascentis Independent Advisors, where he oversees the financial administration and technology systems that support the firm’s rapidly growing advisor community. In this role, Clint leads mission-critical functions including advisor compensation, information security, and the optimization of internal systems to ensure they meet both regulatory and industry standards. His work strengthens the advisor experience by creating efficient processes, safeguarding data integrity, and enabling seamless operational scale across the platform.

Clint joined Golden State in 2015 during a pivotal period of expansion and quickly became a trusted resource across multiple departments. His leadership and technical expertise earned him a promotion in 2020, where he played a key role in elevating technology oversight and system governance. His transition into Ascentis reflects both his track record of operational excellence and his contribution to shaping the firm’s next phase of growth.

During his tenure, Clint completed his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton in 2018. He later pursued additional theological studies at St. Gregory the Great Seminary, earning a Bachelor of Philosophy in 2020. Originally from Eureka, California, Clint now resides in Powell, Wyoming.

Outside of work, Clint enjoys exploring the Wyoming landscape with his family. An avid cyclist, runner, and skier, he embodies the active, outdoor lifestyle of his community. He also applies his technical talents in service to local Catholic parishes, helping them build and maintain their websites.
